Curated by Agata Polizzi Francesco Pantaleone Arte Contemporanea Palermo (I) – 2017
This exhibition featured an intense dialogue between the shapes of Palermo and the geometry of light.
Movement was present throughout the room, making rhythms collide and separate as the spectator entered the location. A deep blue was hiding some structures while the whites and yellows were enhancing the details.
The perception of time and space was dramatically altered, slowing and accelerating as the viewer’s gaze shifted through the place, and allowing the spectator feel Palermo’s rich and complex history.
